In the book GOT GAME: How the Gamer Generation is Shaping Business Forever by John C. Beck and Mitchell Wade, says “the biggest factor shaping the future business is small enough to fit in a teenagers hand. The factor is video games-and though most us dismiss gaming as a waste of time, more that ninety million people are ready to prove us wrong.” Have you ever played video games? or did it ever occur to you that video gaming has its positive side or simply you disgust the mere though of engaging into it. The authors explains how white-collar gamers are creating a positive impact in the corporate environment compared to theri non gaming counter parts. They are more sociable, more confident and comfortable in solving problems creatively.

Also a study done at the University of Rochester by assistant Shawn Green and cognitive science Professor Daphne Bavelier, they have proved through visual recognition test that “Games were literally making people perceive the world more clearly”

Video games are an ACTIVE form of entertainment and therefore one of the best tools for people. However, this is not an excuse to for someone to slack off. In one class in Bristol , England, a teacher uses the adventure game Myst in their English class. As he explores the game, he let his students write about the whole thing.
